to everyone who donated to and made GOLD DUST a big success

The large concourse and the children’s wards on level 12 are looking bright, colourful, and importantly, carry clues about how to find the way around.

The lovely designs not only tell the story of the frog, the dog and their friends, but really bring to the area to life.

The fundraising appeal ran for over a year and many people took part in events organised by Emma Cronin, our Gold Dust Fundraiser. A big thank you to her for all her amazing hard work.
 
There was such a lot of warm support for the appeal and we are extremely pleased to be able to report just what your generosity has accomplished. Alongside the decoration we have been able to buy some interactive technology, for example a Magic Carpet, and a Magic Mirror. The children love playing with these and the projections can be beamed onto both the floor and the bedsheets too!

It’s been a labour of love and it’s lovely to have such warm, welcoming wards now – it makes a difference every day!
