General information:
I read medicine at University College London and gained a BSc in Neuroscience at the Centre for Cognitive Neurosciences at Queen Square, London in 2000. After graduating in 2003 I undertook postgraduate medical training in general internal medicine with the North Central Thames Deanery in Hertfordshire and nephrology training in London. I continued my specialist registrar training years in Glasgow, with time spent in Brisbane, Australia. I began as a Consultant in Acute Medicine and Nephrology at Derriford Hospital in May 2015.
General areas of expertise:
I am part of the Acute Medicine team based on the Acute Medical Unit on Level 6, involved with acute medical emergencies and ambulatory care. I provide outpatient services for nephrology and am involved in delivery of Acute Kidney Injury services and policy.
