Counselling Service

A confidential counselling service operates within the Support Centre at Derriford Hospital and the Outreach Triangle Centres. It is available for cancer patients, their carers and family.
If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or other difficulties because you have cancer, or someone close to you has cancer, you may wish to arrange an appointment with one of the Counsellors.
Patients and carers can refer themselves or ask their healthcare professional to refer on their behalf.
Each appointment lasts approximately one hour and further details are available in the Counselling Service leaflet available in the Mustard Tree.
