Election Results 

Council of Governors' election results announced

 

Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust is pleased to announce the results of the elections to the Council of Governors. More than 3,000 staff and members of the public voted in the election which took place between 16 March – 3 April.   Elections were held for 19 public and 5 staff members, all elected from the membership. The Volunteers staff group Governor was elected unopposed and confirmation can be viewed here.  Electoral Reform Services, who handled the elections on behalf of the Trust, have confirmed that they were conducted in accordance with the rules and constitutional arrangements set out by the Trust and is satisfied that these were in accordance with good electoral practice.

We would like to thank all those people that stood for election and to congratulate the successful candidates.  We would also like to say thank you to all members of the public and staff that voted.

Whilst the Trust's application for Foundation Trust status has been delayed, the Council of Governors will run in shadow format.
