For the Council of Governors 2009 of the proposed  

PlymouthUniversity HospitalNHS Foundation Trust

The Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors 2009 of the Proposed Plymouth University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Elections are to be held for the following positions:

19 Public Governors in the following constituencies:

·          Plymouth (11 Positions)

·          Devon (4 Positions)

·          Cornwall (4 Positions)

6 Staff Governors in the following constituencies:

·          Contracted Staff (1 Position)

·          Volunteers (1 Position)

·          Health Professionals (1 Position)

·          Medical & Dental (1 Position)

·          Nursing & Midwifery Services (1 Position)

·          Administration & Clerical, Management, Hospital Chaplains & Estates (1 Position)

 

A Nomination form to stand for election to these positions can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address shown below.

All Nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, Caroline Hinchcliffe, at the address as detailed below, by noon on Tuesday 24th February 2009.

Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Friday 27th February 2009.

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying Members on Monday 16th March 2009.  Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer by noon on Friday 3rd April 2009.
