This is an exciting time for our organisation as we move forward on our journey to become a Foundation Trust in 2013.  As part of this journey, in the spring and winter of 2012, we consulted over our plans for the future. Our consultation theme was 'Join us - together we can make a difference'. Many of you did join in and gave us your views and/or signed up to be a member for free. We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ for taking the time to tell us what you think and for those of you who signed up to get more involved in members, thank you for giving us your ongoing support.

The Trust also has a Members' Forum which acts as a focal point for active membership and to help embed membership activities across the Trust.  This has demonstrated the Trust's responsiveness to issues that are important to members and provides an opportunity for patients and the public to question senior clinicians and managers about topical issues and areas of concern.  If you'd like to join, email plh-tr.Foundation-Trust@nhs.net.

Tripartite Formal Agreement
The Tripartite Formal Agreement confirms the commitment being made by the Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, the South West Strategic Health Authority and the Department of Health to enable us to achieve Foundation Trust status before 1 April 2014.  Download the Tripartite Formal Agreement.
