Consultant Radiologist

General information:
Dr Williams graduated from the University of London and worked in London, achieving MRCP, before moving to the southwest, and after initially working in research, joined the Peninsula radiology training scheme in 2004. Training included undertaking an ultrasound fellowship at Derriford Hospital and completing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education, before her appointment as a consultant radiologist in 2011.
Qualifications: MB BS, BSc (Hons), MRCP, FRCR, PG Cert Medical Education.

General areas of expertise:
General radiology and cross-sectional imaging (CT, US, MRI).

Particular areas of expertise:
Ultrasound, including US guided intervention.
Imaging in gynaecology, including early pregnancy, placental imaging, and imaging in gynaecological cancer (transvaginal US and intervention, MRI, CT).
Core member of gynaecology-oncology MDT and thyroid MDT.
