The Plymouth gynaecological/oncology unit provides a secondary service to the local population of 500,000, with diagnostic imaging, histopathology, radio-therapeutic, chemo-therapeutic and palliative care services for all the gynaecological cancers. 

The team consists of 3 consultant surgeons, 3 consultant oncologists, 3 consultant radiologists, 1 palliative care consultant, 2 gynaecological cancer nurse specialists and 1 consultant histopathologist.
