Derriford Hospital
The following shops and services are available in the main hospital foyer on level 6.
Reception Desk
• Situated in the main reception area this a useful contact for general information e.g. directions to wards and departments, visiting times.
Wheelchairs
• There are wheelchairs by the main entrance. A pound coin is needed to use a wheelchair - this is refunded when the chair is returned.
Free WiFi
• Free wireless internet services are available for patients, visitors and guests at Derriford Hospital.
To connect to WiFi SPARK for the first time simply search for available WiFi networks on your device, select ‘wifispark’ and click connect to automatically connect your browser to the registration page. Once registered your device should automatically connect to the WiFi network where available.
Please note that signal strength may be weaker in certain parts of the hospital and during peak usage periods.
Post Box
• The post box is in the main entrance, by the door. Collections are at 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday.
Public Telephones
• There are a number of public telephones, one of which has wheelchair access
• Freephone for taxi service.

Coffee Shop and Bakery
• Hot and cold snacks, cakes, pastries and beverages

Cashpoint Machine
There is a Barclays Bank cash machine, opposite the coffee shop and bakery.

• This well stocked shop provides fruit, flowers, plants and a variety of small gifts

• The book shop sells a variety of second-hand hardback and paperbacks.

LloydsPharmacy
The Lloydspharmacy service at Derriford Hospital offers an outpatient
dispensing service for hospital prescriptions only, as well as retail offerings including over the counter medicines.
The opening times are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.
