Disabled Facilities 

Car Parking
Currently 60 spaces are reserved for disabled  users, some are reserved for wheelchair users only.  There are disabled parking bays in most of the patient and visitor car parks.

Wheelchairs
There are wheelchairs by the main entrance.  A pound coin is needed to use a wheelchair - this is refunded when the chair is returned. 

Speaking Lifts
Some of the lifts in the hospital are 'speaking' lifts.

Guides
Main reception offers a volunteer guide service Monday to Friday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm to escort patients to their destination.

Signs 
Signs to all patient areas are in black text on yellow, to assist visually impaired.

Toilets  - there are disabled and assisted toilets in:
o Main Concourse
o Fracture Clinic
o Outpatients
o Orthopaedic Outpatients

Telephones
Phone booth with wheelchair access in concourse, level 6
Minicoms  in Appointments and Audiology Department

Induction Loops  - there is a loop system in Main Reception  Emergency Department.
