The following comments were received during the recent NHS 60th birthday celebrations.

• "I was admitted to Derriford for an emergency heart operation on 31st August 2002, and have been coming back ever since for various consultations and check-ups.  During my 5 ½ weeks in Thrushel Ward EVERYBODY was wonderful.  Mr Marchbank and his team, Mr Hayward & his team (the “plumbers” and the “electricians”!) – all the nurses, dinner ladies, cleaners . . . And the care continues . . .THANK YOU" TN
