The staff accommodation for Plymouth NHS Trust opened in July 2007.  We are situated off-site in Plymbridge Lane, only a few minutes walk from the hospital and within easy walking distance of shops (M & S Food hall) take-away outlets and a pub/restaurant. There is also a good bus service with regular buses to the city centre and surrounding areas.

The 102 flats are in three blocks, three storeys high all have lifts. The flats are single occupancy studio apartments which have been fitted out to a very high standard and are fully furnished and maintained. 

Each flat has a single bed, fitted wardrobes, desk, sofa, dining table and chairs. There is a separate kitchen again fully fitted which includes a washer/dryer, microwave/combi oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster cutlery and crockery.  You will also have your own bathroom with walk in shower, loo etc. We also provide a telephone, internet connection, and access to digital TV channels.

There is a video entry phone system and all blocks have a swipe card entry system. The external grounds and landscaped gardens are monitored by CCTV.  Parking is free for residents and there are 3 cycle sheds in the grounds.

As well as long term residents we are happy to accommodate short term guests, for example candidates for interviews, course attendees, placements, locums etc.  For short stay guests bedding linen and towels are supplied.

We are also pleased to help our associate NHS partners such as the Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, Peninsula Medical School, Radiology Academy to name just a few with accommodation for their staff and visitors.
