Our Director of Corporate Business is set to leave the Trust after nearly a decade of service.
Lee Budge joined in 2010 and has been a key part of our senior team, responsible for ensuring that the Trust Board, its committees and the Trust Management Executive are organised appropriately and focus on the right issues at the right time. Lee has also led on the Trust’s Health & Safety, Information Governance and Charity arrangements.
Lee is leaving to set up his own company and also undertake voluntary work with a local animal charity. He said: “It has been an enormous privilege to have served the NHS and Plymouth for nearly ten years. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with so many incredible people doing amazing things all day, every day and often, in extremely challenging circumstances. I would like to thank everyone who welcomed me into the NHS family and for teaching me about the very essence of dedication, compassion and kindness.”
Ann James, Chief Executive, said: “Lee is a key part of our leadership team. He is well-known, liked and respected by colleagues throughout our Trust and will be very much missed. I would like to thank Lee for his commitment, his enduring passion and hard work over the last decade and wish him all the very best on the next stage of his adventure.”
Lee will leave just before the end of the calendar year. An announcement about replacement arrangements for his Lee’s portfolio will be made in the near future.
