Video consultation Due to the current situation, many face to face outpatient appointments have had to be rescheduled. In order to improve our reach and care for patients, UHP has launched video consultations for some of our clinics. Patients will be able to see and talk to their consultant from the comfort of their home, using any device, such as laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

This new service is progressively being opened to different specialities and clinics. Patients will receive a letter from the hospital with their appointment details and instructions on how to join the video-call. The letter will also include contact details in case the patient has any questions, technical difficulties or will not be able to make the appointment, so they can get in touch with the hospital.

Only patients that have a pre-booked appointment will be seen through video consultation. If video consultation is appropriate for a patient, the hospital will get in touch with them, there is no need for patients to request new appointments.
