Lucy Byrne has raised nearly £10,000 for Plymouth Hospitals Charity.

Lucy held a ball in February on behalf of her friend, Freya King, to raise money for Birch, Bracken and Lynher wards.

The Primrose Foundation have funded a new, state of the art, ultrasound machine at Derriford Hospital, thanks to the incredible fund raising efforts of its supporters. The machine, costing over £50,000, will help to reduce waiting times at the Primrose Breast Care Centre by enabling more patients to be scanned in a shorter time frame.

Josiah Carter from Newton Ferrers has donated a staggering £6,710 to the Mustard Tree after shaving off his hair to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Derriford Hospital.
