Learning from the Clinical Educators

More than 4000 staff have been mask-fit tested and to date a total of 714 staff have undergone upskilling training, of which 35 staff were new to care. The feedback on the programmes from colleagues has been overwhelmingly positive.
We have learnt through our individual experiences during Covid how all colleagues can come together for a common aim, respond quickly and do something really innovative by working differently. We can now look at how we deliver clinical education in the future to see how we can do this even better going forward.
Can I sincerely thank you all for your support with releasing the clinical educators to help with the programmes . Many of our clinical educators mainly practice in their area of speciality, the associated peer support gained by working together has really helped them develop some new skills and grow their confidence.
