The exhibition of artwork celebrating Plymouth and the NHS will leave a lasting legacy in Plymouth.
Held in October, the show brought artist’s expressions of their experiences of the last few years together, for an exhibition held at Derriford hospital’s Postgraduate Medical Centre
Kerry Dungay, Medical Education Manager and Chair of the Women’s Network at University Hospitals Plymouth said:
“All the artwork has been generously donated or loaned to the centre and we have forged some really good partnerships and connections with Plymouth College of Art.”
The show aimed to demonstrate the diversity of University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust’s staff to include race, gender, background, and also to show the diverse occupations and roles within the NHS.
Kerry added: “The legacy going forward is that we can rotate some of the artwork that we have in order to create a modern and up-to-date reflection of the NHS workforce.”
