Raymond Lloyd has been hospitalised with COVID-19 since December, after all the members of his household contracted the virus including his young grandson. From his Amber Zone hospital bed, he speaks to us about the physical pain he has endured as a result of contracting the virus, and how he hopes the public will pay full attention to the Stay at Home message.

Handling the vaccine

Derriford Hospital is NOT able to vaccinate members of the general public or key workers. Our clinical teams are only legally able to vaccinate people aged 80+ attending as outpatients and their registered carers plus health & care staff (who have been invited to attend by their managers or via a drop-in).
