Research Bites

Whether you’re a new or established researcher or just have an interest in research and would like to find out more, The Research and Development Team would like to invite you to join us via MS Teams, on the last Friday of every month at 08:00 throughout 2022 for a series of bitesize talks.

Each month will consist of a different speaker who will hold a short 10 minute presentation about their involvement in research, followed by a 10 minute Q&A. You can expect talks from colleagues based at the Trust, South West Clinical Schools, Research Design Service, Peninsula Clinical Trials Unit and more.

Our first session will take place on Friday 28th January 2022 at 08:00 and will feature Dr Helen Neilens, Senior Research Advisor and Trust Innovation Lead who will provide an introduction to research in UHP.

Future talks will feature:

Dr Wendy Clyne, Consultant Lead for RDS South West

Dr Ashwin Dhanda, Consultant & Honorary Associate Professor in Hepatology

Professor Bridie Kent, Professor of Leadership Nursing
