NHS Virtual Pride Friday finale
Top artists, award-winning presenters and a few surprises.
We learned through the pandemic that 2020's Virtual Pride opened up more opportunities than ever for LGBT+ people to join in with the activism and celebrations and to connect with each other in new and exciting ways.
We know that working towards equality is everyone's business and building awareness through Pride, brings us together to educate, elevate and celebrate.
This Pride in the NHS Week and NHS Virtual Pride will take place in our online People Promise festival arena, combining insights from the domains of philosophy, cognitive science, gaming, architecture, UI/UX, VR/XR and performing arts, to make an accessible, memorable and engaging experience.
The always-on People Promise virtual festival arena will consist of;
- Over 25 hours of programmed experiences with some of our most powerful speakers on the topics you want to hear
- Guest hosts from both inside and outside our NHS
- Welcome Tent
- Main Stage
- Dance Hall
- Camp Fire
and other zones to explore...
The theme for 2021 is Elevate, Educate, Celebrate.
You are also invited to the second NHS Virtual Pride, celebrating the end of Pride in the NHS Week, open to everyone!
NHS Virtual Pride
Event Time: 16:00 to 19:00 (UK Time)
NHS Virtual Pride will be returning for a second year on 10th September between 4pm and 6pm, featuring parades by NHS organisations in their local communities hosted by drag performer recording artist and season 2 contestant of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Ginny Lemon, Kiki Queens Winner and iconic Birmingham drag performer Yshee Black, and award winning LGBTQ+ podcast presenters Benji & Brad’s My Big Gay Podcast.
NHS Virtual Pride will be the grand finale to NHS Pride Week, which will take place at 6th - 10th September.
