General information:  Mr Venkatesh is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with 18 years of experience in Trauma and orthopaedics. He completed medical school in India and completed higher specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics and was awarded DNB Orthopaedics from India and also awarded FRCS T& O and CCST from RCS UK.

He completed a research degree from Teesside University and was awarded MCh Orthopaedics in 2012. He completed MTI RCS Knee fellowship at University hospital of NorthTees & Hartlepool in 2013. In addition to this, he completed the fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty surgery at Basildon & Thurrock university hospital in 2017.

He completed BOA fellowship in leadership and management and was involved in service improvement and quality improvement projects. He was involved in clinical research as a researcher and  has published in peer reviewed journals. He presented in national and international conferences. He is also a reviewer for peer reviewed journals.

General areas of expertise: Complex trauma management, general orthopaedic surgery lower limb arthroplasty surgery and soft tissue knee surgery, knee joint preservation surgery.

Particular areas of expertise: Lower limb arthroplasty hip and knee surgery (primary and revision). Partial knee replacement surgery, soft tissue knee surgery.
