General information:

Dr Broad qualified in medicine from Leicester University in 2005 and moved to the southwest in 2007 to undertake his paediatric training. Dr Broad has worked in several hospitals in the region during his training, he also worked for a year in Auckland in New Zealand to experience the paediatric healthcare system there.

General areas of expertise:

Dr Broad is a general paediatrician with an interest gastroenterology and hepatology.

Particular areas of expertise:

Dr Broad has additional training in paediatric gastroenterology from Bristol Childrens Hospital and works closely with the paediatric gastroenterologists from Bristol in the management of children with conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease.

Additionally he looks after children with liver disorders in liaison with the paediatric hepatologists from Kings Hospital in London.
