The Primrose Foundation, a registered charity based at Derriford Hospital, has joined forces with Bobtails Nursery to offer a lifeline to children, whose parents have been touched by breast cancer. A new support group is being launched to help children of all ages understand they aren’t alone and will give them an opportunity to play and interact with other children who are going through the same experience.

Parents of premature and sick newborn babies being cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Derriford Hospital will now receive extra support, through the use of a new video messaging app.

The wallets will not only protect their maternity notes wherever they go; they will also display important information and advice regarding mum’s health, and that of her baby’s.
