Dr M Chopra
Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia
Dr Chopra graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 2003. She trained in the south west in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2005 and completed a fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children in 2011, becoming a consultant in 2013.
Dr Chopra undertook a sabbatical Fellowship 2016-2017 in Starship Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand in Paediatric Anaesthesia and Paediatric Intensive Care.

General areas of expertise:
Now predominantly Paediatric Anaesthesia with on call to paediatric anaesthesia and critical care out of hours provision with regular commitment to thoracic anaesthesia and some general anaesthesia.
Ad hoc commitment to regional transfer service for critically unwell children (WATCh, Bristol).
Previously, Intensive Care Medicine including neuro-intensive care with specialist interests in Paediatric Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Critical Care simulation and Quality Improvement.
