Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Acute Medicine
Dr Kate Evans graduated from Southampton University in 1998, followed by postgraduate training in General Medicine/ Diabetes & Endocrinology in the Wessex and Peninsula deaneries. She has also spent time training overseas, as a registrar in Perth, Australia, and as an Endocrinology associate fellow in Michigan, USA. Dr Evans was appointed as a Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology Acute Medicine in 2010, having previously worked on the Acute Medical Unit and as part of the Diabetes & Endocrine team as a locum consultant.

Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education 2007.

CCT in Diabetes and Endocrinology/ General Internal Medicine 2008

The care and management of acutely unwell patients as part of the Acute Medical Unit team

Teaching and training medical students and junior doctors in caring for the acutely unwell patient.

Providing general diabetes and endocrine outpatient clinics, as well various specialist diabetes services.
