Caring Plymouth Drop In

On Monday 19th May, Scarlett from the NHS General Recruitment Team attended the Skills Launchpad Caring Plymouth drop-in event, where she met with six jobseekers to explore career opportunities within University Hospitals Plymouth (UHP).

The session provided a valuable opportunity for one-on-one conversations, where Scarlett helped individuals align their existing skills and experience with roles across the hospital. The group included a diverse mix of attendees - from hands-on, practical workers interested in becoming Porters, to skilled administrators eager to contribute to the hospital's people services and support functions.

Scarlett offered tailored advice on how to enter the NHS workforce, shared insights into the application process, and discussed development pathways for progression once in post. Her guidance helped each jobseeker understand where their strengths could be best applied and how to take the next step toward a rewarding career at UHP.
