General information:
Dr Goranova gained her medical degree at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2003. She then gained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2006 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2011.
She began working as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in 2012 at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and joined the Oncology Team at Derriford Hospital in May 2017.

- Head and Neck Cancer
Particular areas of expertise:
- Dr Goranova is interested in minimising the side effects of treatment and is a co-applicant on a national trial looking at the use of laser treatment for oral mucositis.
