Dr Paul Jenkins
Consultant Interventional Radiologist
Paul was appointed a Consultant at University Hospitals Plymouth in 2024. He has a particular interest in Research, within both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. His practice spans the breadth of interventional radiology with a particular clinical focus on embolization and interventional oncology, where he is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge, minimally invasive therapies that improve both survival and quality of life for patients.
Alongside his clinical work, Paul is deeply engaged in research and innovation, with an emphasis on developing evidence-based approaches to trauma management, Pulmonary embolism care and advancing the role of interventional radiology in cancer care. As Research Lead, he oversees collaborative projects, supports emerging investigators, and helps integrate research into training pathways for the next generation of interventional radiologists.
