UHP re-signs the armed forces covenant

University Hospitals Plymouth (UHP) has re-signed their commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant. This is a promise that the Trust acknowledges and understands that those who have served in the armed forces, including their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society that they serve.

Car Parking – Public Tariff

From 1 May 2025, the cost of parking at Derriford Hospital is increasing for those who pay. The income from parking goes directly to the Trust and helps support our car parks and services, and prices are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure we cover our costs. The changes bring our tariff in-line with other Trusts in Devon.

Her commitment to service improvement and patient-centred care has now earned her national recognition through the prestigious Chief Midwifery Officer Silver Award, presented by Kate Brintworth, Chief Midwifery Officer for England.
