The first patients have been seen at the temporary Computed Tomography (CT) scanner which will form part of Plymouth’s new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). The new Diagnostic Centre, located in Plymouth’s West End, will provide wider access to critical diagnostic tests.

Our Trust estates team has been working with specialist structural engineers to ensure we have the best possible advice and guidance to keep people safe. We have a clear protocol for managing RAAC which includes regular inspections and our last inspection was earlier this year (2023).

We are pleased to announce that Darryn Allcorn has been appointed as Chief Nurse and Director of Integrated Clinical Professions on a permanent basis.

Nevada Construction, Ward Williams Associates and Co Create Architects spent the day renovating the outdoor space outside Saltram and Lopes wards, making it a more enjoyable space for staff and patients to use.

Blooming Well’s Sheepstor base, on Dartmoor, is celebrating a year full of tending and growing. The therapeutic horticulture programme, designed to support cancer patients in their recovery, is delivered free to participants as part of the Mustard Tree’s personalised care in cancer provision.
