Dr Sharon Man gained her MBBS medical degree with a PhD from the University College London Medical School in 2008.  She obtained full membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010 and completed her postgraduate Core Medical Training at Barts Health NHS Trust in 2013. She rotated between the Royal London Hospital, London Chest Hospital, and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. During this time, she became inspired to specialise in management of heart rhythm disorders. 

She undertook MD research on implantable devices in heart failure and arrhythmias. This was with Professor André Ng at the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester in 2014. In 2021 she obtained the European Examination in General Cardiology Certification and was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine’s Ellison-Cliffe travel fellowship grant in 2022 to gain further clinical and research experience in catheter ablation for arrhythmias in France.  She was a faculty member at the Heart Rhythm Congress UK in Birmingham in 2023 where she was also a finalist at the Young Investigators Competition. Dr. Man completed her clinical Cardiology training in Leicester in 2023. 

She is an accredited member of the British Heart Rhythm Society, passing the examination in Electrophysiology with distinction in 2023. She is also a Digital Committee member of the European Heart Rhythm Association and the European Society of Cardiology.  She is a Fellow member of the Royal Society of Medicine. As an author and co-author, she has published multiple peer-reviewed papers including Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Europace and European Heart Journal Digital Health. 

Dr Man believes in the value of reflective practice and continuous self-improvement with a positive learning attitude for optimal teamwork and patient care. 

She is a mother to a teenage daughter who is a competitive swimmer and is a keen pianist, runner and swimmer.
