I completed pre-clinical medical training at St Andrews University in Scotland then transferred to St Georges in London for my clinical training. During my anaesthetics training I worked as a Senior House Officer in the South-East before returning to Scotland for my Registrar training in Glasgow. I went to Brisbane, Australia for a Paediatric Anaesthesia Fellowship year at the Mater Children’s Hospital. Following completion of my training I was a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Anaesthesia at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow.
