General information:
Miss McLarty graduated from The University of Birmingham Medical School in 1995, and soon after moved to Plymouth for House Physician and Surgical SHO Rotations. She moved to Brighton completing an MSc. thesis in Urology and then underwent Specialist Registrar training in South London (Guy’s and St Thomas’, Charring Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals).
She spent a year in Brisbane, Australia, undertaking a Fellowship in Uro-oncology and reconstructive Urology, before starting as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Derriford in 2008. Miss McLarty has an interest in Postgraduate Surgical Education and is Head of the Peninsula School of Postgraduate Surgery.
