Mr J E Metcalfe
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr Metcalfe was raised in Liverpool and completed his undergraduate training at Birmingham Medical School. His initial surgical training took place in Stoke-On-Trent and specialist training was performed at The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry, Shropshire. James completed a National Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Mr Metcalfe's main interests are foot and ankle surgery and children’s orthopaedics. James has undertaken training in limb reconstruction with Ilizarov frames and he uses these skills for trauma and elective problems.
