Meet the Matrons

Patients, carers, and families can give ward feedback via our Meet the Matron service. You can talk to our matrons about things that have gone well and any issues you may have had during your stay.

When you are on the ward, visiting or phoning, you can speak to the ward manager or matron about any issues. This helps us to identify and resolve things early.

You can also have a dedicated time to talk to the matron, during or after your stay at the hospital. You might want to talk to your matron about:

  • Improvements. What would have improved your experience or helped you during your stay.

  • Positive feedback or thanks. This could be about an individual, a team, or a general comment about the service you received.

  • Concerns or complaints. This could be a specific experience or something that affected your care in the hospital. Please tell us.

To arrange a meeting with one of our matrons in person, online, or over the phone, please fill out our online form. Select the ward, unit or department you would like to give feedback on, and the right matron will contact you.
