Consultant Radiologist

General information:
Dr Paisley graduated from the University of Oxford Medical School in 1993. After completion of a medical rotation at the Royal Devon and Exeter (RD&E) Hospital, Exeter, and attainment of MRCP, she commenced a period of research in the Department of Vascular Medicine at Exeter, culminating in a DM degree. She then joined the South West Peninsula Radiology Training Scheme and was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist at Derriford in 2005.

Qualifications: MA BM BCh MRCP FRCR DM

Subspecialist interests and innovative techniques being used:
Breast imaging (expertise in both screening and symptomatic breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, screening assessment, ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasound and stereotactic pre-op localisation and breast MR).

• Educational Supervisor for Specialist Trainees on South West Peninsula Radiology Training Scheme.
• Director of Breast Screening, West Devon & East Cornwall Breast Screening Service
• Lead Breast radiologist, Primrose Breast Care Centre
