Consultant in Emergency Medicine

Qualifications: MBBS, BSc, MRCP, FRCEM

General information:  

Dr Parry trained in London at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (St. Mary’s Medical School) and graduated in 1998.  He accrued clinical experience within emergency medicine and many other specialties such as anaesthetics and intensive care medicine, orthopaedic surgery and completed a medical rotation before deciding on a career in emergency medicine.  Dr Parry worked in New Zealand before embarking on an emergency medicine specialist training programme in the South West of England. He became a consultant at Derriford Hospital in 2014.  He is married with two children, and enjoys many different sports including rock climbing, windsurfing and running mountain marathons in his spare time.

• All aspects of adult and paediatric Emergency Medicine.    

Particular areas of expertise:

• Acute Medicine, Major Trauma and Medical Education.
