General information:
Paul was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Eye Infirmary in 2019 as an ophthalmologist with a special interest in oculoplastic surgery. He completed his medical school training at University College London in 2005. After completing core surgical training in Plymouth he entered ophthalmic specialty training in Wessex (Southampton) which he completed in 2017. During his training he completed an observership at Moorfields eye hospital in London and at the IMO (Ocular Microsurgical Institute) in Barcelona. Following his training he completed a 1 year subspecialty fellowship in oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He currently leads the oculoplastic surgery service in Plymouth and also performs cataract surgery and sees patients with general and emergency eye problems.
