Consultant Neonatologist

General information:
Dr Richardson graduated from Bristol University in 1994. He continued to work within the south west region after qualifying and commenced my paediatric training in 1996.

Dr Richardson commenced middle grade paediatric training rotation in 2000, within the south west, before being accepted onto the National Neonatal grid training programme and completing the final two years of sub-specialty training in Neonates in South Wales.

After spending time as a locum Consultant Neonatologist in Newport, he moved to Derriford Hospital in December 2005.

Dr Richardson is currently the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (RCPCH) College Tutor for Plymouth and oversee the supervision and training of all paediatric and neonatal trainees in Plymouth
