Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

General information:
Dr Scott trained at St Bartholemews Hospital in London before completing GP training in Oxford.  He then completed training in obstetrics and gynaecology in London and started as a Consultant in Plymouth in 2004.  He is married to a local GP and has two children.

General areas of expertise:
He practices all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology except gynaecological cancer. He is a member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and a lead clinician for day case surgery.

Particular areas of expertise:
Dr Scott has a keen interest in minimal access (keyhole) surgery for the treatment of most gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts and endometriosis. He runs the one stop menstrual disorder clinic and scan in the early pregnancy unit.
