General information:
Dr Sheridan qualified from University College London (MBBS 2000), and trained in Medicine and Gastroenterology in Leicester and Newcastle upon Tyne. He was awarded PhD from Newcastle University (2007-2011), and was NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Hepatology in Newcastle (2011-13). He was a Fellow in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at Freeman Hospital (2012-13) and has sub-specialty accreditation in Hepatology. He was a visiting scholar at Westmead Millennium Institute, University of Sydney (2013-14). Research interests are chronic hepatitis C virus-host interactions, lipid metabolism and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
