Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

General information:
Dr Shrestha has worked in this Trust since 1991. She has developed several services in the unit eg Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Fast Tract Post-Menopausal Bleeding Assessment Clinic and others.
She performs pelvic ultrasound in her clinics and tries to provide a comprehensive service at one visit as much as possible.

Particular areas of expertise:
Pelvic Ultrasound Scanning – She provides this service in her gynecology clinic and also at her peripheral clinic in Liskeard
Post-Menopausal Bleeding Assessment
Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology
Management of Ectopic Pregnancy – She has established a very successful service for Non-Surgical management of Ectopic Pregnancy
Jasmine Clinic – service for pregnant women with substance misuse
Joint Vulval Clinic at GU Medicine
