Victoria Conibeer - Improvement Lead

My current job role?

I currently work as an Improvement Lead, supporting, coaching and facilitating teams with implementing change within their everyday work, as well as leading on improvement projects and events across the Trust. I also teach quality improvement tools and routines to support building an improvement culture, ensuring we provide the best service possible for our patients.

What I enjoy most about my job?

I enjoy the variability of my role and the different people I have the opportunity to work with. I am very much a people person, and get the most enjoyment out of supporting and empowering others to make the changes that have the biggest impact for them, their team and their patients.

Previous work history?

I spent the first 13 years of my career working in community Pharmacy. During this time, I qualified as a Pharmacy Technician. In 2014 I made the move to UHP as a rotational Pharmacy Technician, working in our Pharmacy Department and qualifying as an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician. I then had the opportunity to take on the role of Dispensary Manager, which I embraced and thoroughly enjoyed for 4 years. During my time in this role I attended a quality improvement course, learning about KATA methodology to implement change. This ignited my passion for quality improvement and after almost 20 years of working in Pharmacy, inspired me to make the brave decision to apply for a position in the Quality Academy.

My personal interests?

I love spending time in the outdoors with my husband, two children and two dogs. We love heading off for overnight adventures in our trusty transporter Sue!

I am also a massive motorsport fan, Formula 1, MotoGP, World Superbikes, and British Superbikes fills many of our weekends.

When I am not out on adventures with my family, or watching motorsport, I enjoy spending time with friends, eating good food and baking.
