Dr Petra Williams
Consultant Radiologist
Dr Williams graduated from the University of London and worked in London, achieving MRCP, before moving to the southwest, and after initially working in research, joined the Peninsula radiology training scheme in 2004. Training included undertaking an ultrasound fellowship at Derriford Hospital and completing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education, before her appointment as a consultant radiologist in 2011.
Qualifications: MB BS, BSc (Hons), MRCP, FRCR, PG Cert Medical Education.
General areas of expertise:
Gynae-radiology and general radiology (MRI, US, CT).
Particular areas of expertise:

Imaging for gynaecology, including for gynae-oncology and endometriosis.

Core member of gynae-oncology MDT, thyroid MDT, and endometriosis MDT.
