Do you fancy a real adrenaline rush whilst being able to raise money for Plymouth Hospitals Charity?
This year’s Santa zip wire is taking place at The Eden Project on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December 2022 and we’re raising funds for the Children’s Wards at University Hospital Plymouth. The money that you will raise will go towards enhancing the lives of these patients and their visitors during their challenging hospital stays and making sure that they have as positive experience as possible.
Jamie Lee, Charity Engagement Coordinator explains, “Last year we managed to raise about £20,000. £15,000 of this impressive sum of money was split between the general children’s wards and the children’s cancer wards for them to spend on helping those that they care for and bringing smiles to their faces. The remaining money was split between other wards that participants had nominated, to also improve the hospital experience for our patients. Let’s make this year bigger and better and I can’t wait to see you all there!’.
