Young Abseilers proving charity begins at home.

Two of our youngest abseilers this weekend are getting involved for very different reasons.

Willow’s supporting her mum Rebecca who’s a clinical nurse specialist and part of the team raising money for the Lung Cancer Specialist Department. Rebecca said:
“ Willow is a complete star and wants to help people that have lung cancer to help them feel better.  She also wanted to participate in the abseil to raise money for an area I have a passion for. She will throw herself into anything and will always do her upmost to complete the challenge. We are so proud of her.”

“My twin cousins were in NICU when they were both born Premature and very very poorly.”
Zander’s mum, Sian, says he is so proud of her son for taking on the challenge and taking the opportunity to raise money for a cause which has helped his family so much.
We wish all our abseilers good luck, have a great time and thank you for helping your hospital’s charity to make life better for our staff and patients.
