We will regularly post news and information about disruptions at the Derriford hospital site while we carry out essential building works to improve patient care.

Next week we will be making some improvements to Car Park F (often referred to as the disabled car park), following feedback received by patients and visitors. Bollards will be installed to provide protection along the pedestrian walkway, and a new, permanent shelter will be established for both patients and visitors being dropped off/collected and those using the mobility bus services. Following these works, a more permanent provision of patient and visitor wheelchairs will also be in place.
Please bear with us during what should only be very minimal disruption to the car park while these improvements are implemented. A parking attendant will be available throughout to assist and a temporary shelter will remain in place until the new one is complete. We have also made some improvements to the free shuttle bus service available for those patients and their carers that need help getting around the Derriford Hospital site. The mobility bus is now running from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week. To use the service please call the parking desk on 01752 432000 or 07827 897431 giving your location.
