As of 1 May 2025, the Paediatric ED has relocated and pedestrian walk-ins will need to enter the building via the Main Entrance at the front of Derriford Hospital.
All minors (under 16) will need to be brought through the main entrance doors. Please then follow the red signs directing you to the Paediatric Emergency Department.
The main entrance doors are open from 6.15am to 9pm. Outside of these hours, access is available via an intercom button to the right hand side of the doors, and someone will assist you.
Patients arriving by ambulance will continue to enter through the red main Emergency Department doors.

Please note the single-story road opposite the main entrance of Derriford Hospital is now closed to public vehicles. To access the parking options above, you will need to enter the site via Morlaix Drive or the mini roundabout at the top of Hospital Road.
