Please be advised that essential works are currently taking place adjacent to the Multi-Storey Car Park. During this time, there is a temporary 4-way traffic light system in place on the road adjacent to the Multi-Storey Car Park, leading down to Maternity Services, Morlaix Drive and the O-road.
These lights are in place to keep staff and visitors safe and manage traffic flow into the hospital. The lights will be manually controlled during peak periods and traffic marshals will assist during busy times to ensure smooth traffic and pedestrian safety.
The zebra crossing leading to the car park will be replaced with a pelican crossing. Temporary signs about the new traffic lights for pedestrians will be put up by the end of the week.
All works are due to be completed within 4 weeks.
