  • Tax contributions

The Trust offers schemes covering the purchasing of home electronics, gym membership, car leasing, corporate childcare and the national cycle to work scheme. Find out more about Salary Sacrifice Schemes

Still lake with mountains in the backgroundComing to the UK to join the NHS is a daunting, life-changing event. It is ok to need a little more help at times, and we actively encourage you to do so through the Trust's range of diverse help and support.

Freedom to Speak Up Guardians

The Freedom to Speak Up Guardians operate independently, impartially, and objectively to support all staff within our organisation to raise any concerns that you may have.  The Guardians, whilst remaining independent, work alongside the senior leadership team to support a more open and transparent place to work, where all colleagues are actively encouraged and enabled to speak up safely.

Pastoral and Spiritual Care

A difficult experience can leave us feeling uncertain and vulnerable. At times like this it helps to have someone who will accept you as you are and help you to find a way to deal with it.

The Pastoral and Spiritual Care Team are here to listen. They can be alongside you, as you try to make sense of your situation.

The Department of Pastoral and Spiritual Care has nearly 100 people from many walks of life who share a passion for supporting patients, families and the staff who care for them. They have a quiet room in a private space for you to meet with one of the team or to be alone. The chapel is always open and the multi-faith room is available during office hours.

Staff Networks

The Trust wants to hear your thoughts on equality, diversity and inclusion. One way to do this is through our inclusion networks. The networks aim to promote inclusivity in the workplace by encouraging all of our staff members to speak up in a safe space. They are designed to listen to you and discuss your values to ultimately ensure complete acceptance and respect. For any further information, please contact the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion team on plh-tr.staffnetworks@nhs.net
